One of my colleagues once described bloggers as self-obsessed talkers with too much time on their hands. I don’t want to be one of them. Instead, my blogging effort is an experiment in how technology can help improve thinking and understanding. Putting your ideas into words for someone else deepens and clarifies your own understanding. So this blog represents my evolving thoughts about education, technology, and whatever else grabs my attention. The words here do not represent the opinions of the workplaces -- Tom Snyder Productions, an educational software developer and publisher, and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where I’m an adjunct member of the faculty -- that drive much of my thinking. It’s all about me (and I feel okay and not entirely self-absorbed saying that). Your comments are welcome. Understanding is an iterative process; it helps to have other voices in the mix.
